Hatha -
Said to be the basis of all types of yoga systems as it includes many of the different physical movements in all systems of yoga. Hatha yoga is a very calm and meditative form where yoga is practiced more slowly involving lots of control and grace throughout your body.
Bhakti -
Leads you to an emotional path of surrender where it deals with love and devotion. Lots of emphasis is placed on the love of god, love of god in man and surrender to gods will.
Karma -
Want to take the path to selfless action? Karma yoga makes it clear that us as humans must always work in harmony with the greater power which controls and runs the universe. 'All actions and rewards are given to the divine'.
Kunalini Yoga -
It focuses on the psychic energy centers within the spine and much different to most of the religious systems around the world. It is said that when one becomes aroused the potential energy becomes a conscious driven force and the person can result in a state of super consciousness and bliss. When two people have mastered their self by relaxing their body tensions and being able to release their energy blocks then because they have reached the same level they can come together and form a whole.

Practicing Yoga at Home
Yoga is a science, thousands of years old. There are no fitness programs, exercise routines or medical breakthroughs that can match the power of yoga. Practicing Yoga requires only an open mind and a desire to improve. While it is highly recommended to practice with a teacher, real Yoga can only be practiced alone. The real Yoga teacher is inside. The perfect practice includes communication with a teacher and constant self-exercise that builds confidence, discipline and facilitates advancement.
Practicing Yoga at home has numerous benefits, but how do you approach this without a teacher?
Until your mastery of Yoga routines allows you to perform asanas without referencing others there are some tools that may help in establishing a successful home practice.
Yoga DVDs
When selecting a yoga program, pay attention to the quality of the product. Make sure your DVDs do not make any empty promises, or offer instant cures for weight loss, stress relief etc. Remember, all this must come from the inside, naturally. A great Yoga DVD must be hosted by a real instructor with a goal to spread knowledge and not to sell as many discs as possible. Also, pay attention to the structure of the DVD's menu, ideally it must allow to build a personalized routine, with different lengths of practice as options. A guided meditation at the end of practice is a very important feature of any good Yoga DVD.
Yoga Books
My suggestion is to read the essential books on Yoga philosophy on a regular basis. These books, like the Bible, are fountains of wisdom, knowledge and answers to all questions. Continue reading The Yoga Sutras, The Bhagavad Gita and The Heart of Yoga throughout your entire life and gradually peace of mind will come and certain realizations will change you forever. These books will help your Yoga practice tremendously.
Music
Most music played today is commercial, created to capitalize on our weaknesses and generate as much profit as possible. This kind of music requires high volume, as it is incapable of reaching us on subtle levels. We must be deafened, destroyed and overpowered before we surrender to pop, mostly against our natural desires. Spiritual, natural, real music on the other hand has amazing powers and may benefit your Yoga practice as much as performing asanas. Artists such as Krishna Das, Jai Uttal and Deva Premal create beautiful music that reaches deeps inside and purifies our minds and bodies.
Practicing Yoga at the comfort of your own home has great benefits and should become a part of your daily routine if you are serious about self-improvement.

Yoga Mat - All You Should Know About A Yoga Mat
When practicing yoga, you need to make certain investments. These investments would do a lot for your flawless performance, benefits that you obtain from performing various asanas and overall health.
One of the most important investments you require to make even before you start off with your program of doing yoga is purchasing a yoga mat. This is one of the most crucial investments you need to make.
A) The mat is beneficial to you in the following aspects:
a) It prevents you from falling and provides you good amount of grip.
b) It provides you safety and it lets you perform all the asanas without any difficulty.
c) It allows you to stay away from sweat and the distraction caused by sweat while performing yoga.
d) A yoga mat provides good support for your back when you lie down.
e) The yoga mat lets you perform all your asanas just the way you should.
B) There are several things you need to consider prior to purchasing a yoga mat. This will make sure that you have made the best possible deal:
a) Learn
Try to gain sound knowledge on different types of yoga mats available. You need to know what material these are made of, what each mat specializes in and how they differ from each other.
b) Research
In order to get the best deal, you need to do a little bit of homework on your side. Try to make a good research on various shops selling yoga mats, the quality they deal in and prices each dealer offers you. Compare and then make a choice.
c) Comfort level
When choosing yoga mat you must see your comfort level. Check out whether your height and width fit well into the mat you are planning to purchase. The yoga mat should be able to provide proper grip and lay flat on the ground. Don't buy if it sticks to your feet when you lie down.
d) Allergies
Latex yoga mats are very popular and most commonly used. However, if you are allergic to latex products, simply stay away from it.
e) Don't fall for cheap options
Don't purchase a yoga mat just because it offers you good amount of discounts. Purchase a yoga mat only if it fulfills all your needs and specific yogic requirements.
f) Ask your instructor
If you are learning yoga from an instructor, ask him to provide superb tips for purchasing a yoga mat. He would be the best person to provide you great suggestions.
g) Look for these basic points
Make sure that you look for the basic points when purchasing a yoga mat.
1. Health and environment safe
2. Durability and comfortability
3. Accepted by your teacher
4. Non-slippery and light and easy to roll up
h) Tests
Here are some tests that would prove useful for you when purchasing a yoga mat.
a) The Quarter test
The edge of a quarter will tell you a lot about its durability. The more the strokes, the longer will be the life of yoga mat.
b) The wet friction test
Just wet your hands and bear down laterally on the mat surface. This will let you compare wet traction.
c) The pinch test
Just pinch the mat between thumb and forefinger and you will come o know about compression resistance.

Thick Yoga Mats and Other Yoga Accessories - What Do You Need?
There are lots of yoga accessories out in the market today. As a yoga beginner it's sometimes hard to decide what to buy and more importantly what are they used for. Let's take a look at the different yoga accessories in order of their importance, in my opinion.
Thick Yoga Mat
A yoga mat is probably the most essential piece of yoga equipment since it cushions parts of your body from the hard floor. Most agree that a thick yoga mat (1/4 inches) provides the most comfort without losing stability. A yoga mat also gives you a personal "space" when you are in a yoga class so you don't feel cramped.
Yoga Bolster
Yoga bolsters are used as a support for certain types of yoga poses. They can also be used by beginners who are starting out and aren't as flexible. One way is to use a bolster under your hips when in Asanas (lotus or cross-legged seated position). Another is Halasana or plow pose (lying on your back with your feet up over your head).
Yoga Block
Yoga blocks are used as extensions of your hands when in poses where it would be uncomfortable to try to reach the floor with your hand on its own. They are roughly nine inches x six inches x three/four inches and therefore can be used at various heights depending on what is needed by the student. Bolsters are especially helpful during the first weeks of yoga for beginners so they don't try to do too much and might injure themselves.
Yoga Strap
A yoga strap, like a block is used to help get used to positions and stretches that might be uncomfortable for beginners. Examples of stretches where a yoga strap is helpful include most seated forward bends and most straps range in length from six to nine feet long and are made of soft cotton or hemp. There is a buckle (like a belt) so you can adjust the length to fit your reach.
There are many great things about yoga. You can do it practically anywhere, your body will become strong and flexible in a fairly short amount of time, you don't need shoes or special clothing (just comfortable and loose fitting) and best of all very little equipment is involved. Hopefully you have a better idea the yoga accessories you might want to buy if you are a beginning yoga student. Feel free to visit http://thick-yogamat.com for more information.

Yoga Mats 101
Both spiritual enlightenment and bodily well being are two of the life affirming benefits connected with practicing yoga. Hence why yoga is one of the most well-liked wellness and fitness routines practiced internationally today. And not simply by you and me, Yoga has a whole army of celebrity yogies championing its benefits.
Choosing your own perfect mat will depend upon a number of variables, but is important to note that the perfect mat for one, will be ineffective for another.
Therefore before going off in order to purchase your mat. You require to know what sort of yoga you would like to practice, gentle or robust, what type of surface you'll be performing on (hard and slippy like wooden floors or much softer such as carpet or grass), will your mat be going with you, or remain at your yoga club or home. If you possess strong ecological ideals, you will additionally want to understand how eco-friendly your mat may be.
The obvious considerations regards the vigor needed for your style of yoga, because perspiration, and the slippage associated with sweaty hands and feet, can be very dangerous when practicing yoga. Also if you require additional support, a thick sticky yoga mat, will be far less transportable than a slimmer travel mat.
At minimum you will want your yoga mat to be, safe or appropriate for your type of yoga, and environment. You may require it to be supportive for you, durable would be good, eco-friendly perhaps, and if your planning to travel with your mat, you may value light and easily cleanable, if your going to throw it down on a beach someplace.
You will ideally be spending a good deal of quality time with your yoga mat, so it is important that it helps your balance, and is supportive of any back or joint pains you might have.
Natural or organic yoga mats are manufactured using natural rubber, and all natural plant extract materials such as cotton, hemp, jute and other fibrous grasses. The production of these organic mats will additionally not include any non biodegradable chemicals within any of the growing or manufacturing procedures. Although this degree of eco-friendly yoga mat will cost significantly more compared to, the less expensive mass production mats.
As you might imagine yoga mats can be found in many size variations, though most common is 24 inches wide by 68 inches in length, thickness can vary from just a few millimeters to 400 millimeters for the most comfortable of mats.
Prices vary as much as style with mats available for as little as $20 and going as high as $140 for a top end branded yoga mat such as the Manduka Black Pro yoga mat.
With the popularity of yoga vacations growing annually, you may require a practical and transportable yoga travel mat. This particular type of mat may be just a few millimeters thick, and role up tight and light for easy storage, and carrying if you are mixing yoga with trekking. Which is a beautiful way of viewing your selected holiday destination, whilst enjoying the many benefits of practicing yoga

Popular Yoga
Yoga, the ancient practice of postures, breathing and meditation, is gaining rising popularity of yoga nowadays. Exercising yoga has many psychological and spiritual effects.
Some measure the soaring popularity of yoga by the skyrocketing sales of yoga books, classes and equipment. Others note that yoga classes are overtaking traditional aerobics classes in popularity in health clubs throughout the nation. Yoga has grown in popularity likely because people have realized the benefit of low-impact activities and the need to keep an active lifestyle.
Yoga strives to increase self-awareness on both a physical and psychological level. When you achieve the yogic spirit, you can begin knowing yourself at peace.
Yoga helps you to move better and feel better. It stretches muscles and joints and can result in improved posture, energy levels and overall health. The regular practice of yoga can promote body wellness by gradually increasing overall flexibility. By easing muscles and joints into various postures, tension is released and the body becomes less rigid. The key to gaining real benefit from yoga is consistency of practice and maintaining just the right level of difficulty.
Yoga has positive effect on outlook and energy level. Yogic stretching and breathing exercises have been seen to result in an invigorating effect on both mental and physical energy and improved mood.
The yoga practice has certainly gained some popularity during recent years. This interest in yoga has also been fuelled by the advantages that are associated with the practice of yoga. Indeed, Yoga is an excellent means to achieve total body conditioning.

Custom Yoga Mats - Taking Advantage of Their Increasing Popularity
One cannot deny that yoga is becoming popular. Because of this, more and more people are striving to be in better shape and good health. The increasing popularity of yoga also indicates the increasing popularity of yoga schools and other related businesses.
The well-known and established brands and companies of today have their very own trademark and target market. This is because part of their marketing strategy is the use of branded products or promotional items. In the case of yoga, there are Custom Yoga Mats that are widely available for promotional printing. If you want to expand your business promotion, you offer these mats to your regular or prospective clients.
The process of making and creating yoga mats is fairly easy. With a concept or design in mind, you can approach a graphic artist or consultant to do the customisation on the mats for you. Custom Yoga Mats are specially made for branding since there is a lot of space that lets the eye focus on the print. Aside from these mats, you can also print your company logo on yoga bags, T-shirts, foam blocks, and many others.
Branding these mats is especially effective in promotions for special retreats and other events. Some schools also print their mats with their logos and hand them down to students as welcome package. Yogis can also see your company logo and will give them the impression that you are upholding wellness and spirituality.
If you think that these are great opportunities for your company to expand marketing, then make your plans on how you can make cost-effective Custom Yoga Mats and take your business to a higher level.
What Your Custom Yoga Mat Should Be
To help you decide when choosing your company mats, here are some tips on what your mats should be.
Hand-woven Custom Yoga Mats are ideal if you want to support gentle yoga exercises along with meditation and relaxation.
Furthermore, the mats should be extremely comfortable and snug, which can help relax the body when lying down.
These mats should also have quality sweat-absorbent properties and are conveniently washable.
Custom Yoga Mats also have to be sufficiently large to give the yogi comfort when doing yoga exercises.
Lastly, the mats that you will use for promotions should be firm enough to withstand the different yoga positions.

Hatha Yoga Certification Home Study Courses
Let's say you have decided to become a Yoga instructor, but you do not have weeks or months, of free time, to spend away from your family, friends, and obligations. You have researched Yoga certification classes from NYC (New York City) to Sacramento, CA. The typical training course for Yoga instructors will also require you to pay fairly large sums of money, which creates another hardship.
Are there any other Yoga instructor training options for the working person, with family obligations and a budget? Yes, there are - and a Hatha Yoga certification home study program meets the needs of many practitioners who aspire to teach Yoga. With Internet technology, we also have online Yoga instructor training study programs.
Hatha Yoga Certification home study courses, correspondence courses, and distance learning courses, have existed for decades. Not everyone has the financial resources, or free time, available to "fly off" to Tibet or India.
In an ideal world, it would be nice to have the time, and money, to attend a Yoga teacher certification class in Honolulu, but maybe it's just not realistic thinking at this time. Is a Hatha Yoga certification home study course starting to sound more realistic?
What should you be looking for in a home study course designed for Hatha Yoga instructors? What material should a Hatha Yoga home study course contain? Will there be Yoga certification videos or DVD's. Should the whole Yoga instructor's training course be designed for online learning?
A Yoga instructor's training course and certification should consume a minimum of 200 study hours. This 200 hour standard has become the generally agreed minimum requirement for most Yoga teacher certification organizations.
There are some Yoga teacher certifications that require less than 200 hours, but will you learn about modifications, contraindications, anatomy, physiology, the subtle body, chakras, mudras, bandhas, doshas, kriyas, asanas, meditation, and Pranayama in less than 200 hours? Remember that 200 hours is the generally agreed "minimum" number of Yoga teacher training study hours.
DVD has become the most popular international format for video, so Yoga certification videos should be in DVD format. If you have previous experience as a Yoga student, and had, or have, a Yoga teacher for guidance; your Yoga instructor internship will be a smooth process. Experienced Yoga practitioners can easily grasp the concepts presented within Yoga certification videos.
However, if you have no previous experience, as a Yoga student, you can make life easier on yourself by seeking the guidance of a competent Yoga teacher in your local area.
Lastly, the ability to turn in written assignments by Email speeds up the Yoga instructor certification process, but it also helps to get tutoring by Email or phone. These are options to consider when choosing a Hatha Yoga certification home study program.

Creating a Home Yoga Routine
Yoga doesn't need to be done in a studio for $14 an hour. The beauty of yoga is that it can be done right in your own home for free. While yoga classes are nice sometimes because you can pick up great tips and techniques, the best yoga is done at your own pace in a quiet place where you can really get deep into yourself and your asanas.
In the east where yoga is more traditional, yoga practices are much quieter with meditation and prayer. Many of the masters who originated yoga practiced yoga in caves and alone in the forest. The traditional ways of practicing yoga are much different than some of our popular western studios with music, fast paced sun salutations and "power yoga". Home practices can be a nice experience and really allow a person more depth in and connection in their yoga routine.
One way to develop a beginner home yoga routine is with videos. Some videos are better than other so you may have to try a few before you find a style or series that fits your preferred method of yoga. Many local libraries have videos that you can check out for free including basic yoga routines. Most video rental stores also have yoga videos you can rent. If you find one you like they might have a series of them. Videos can get boring after several repetitions, but they can be a great way for a beginner to start a yoga routine at home. Videos are also beneficial because you can pause and work on certain asanas for long periods. Once you are familiar with flows and different asanas, you may even add your own asanas to the routines.
Another way to make great yoga routines at home is by using a good yoga book that has courses in it. This can be a little harder because you don't have a live person or a video to guide you through the routines, but for the more advance to intermediate yoga student, this can be a good way to go. As with most subjects, yoga has many poorly written books with little content. Take your time looking at books and choose a good one with decent content and routines that fit both the level of yoga you are comfortable with and a style you enjoy.
One of the best books available is Light on Yoga by BK S Iyengar. This book has over 544 pages and a good sized section of asana routines that would take years to perfect. With a good book like this, you can layout home yoga routines from beginner asanas to very advanced asanas. This book could literally provide a person with a lifetime of study and home yoga practices.
The best home yoga practices and routines take bits and pieces from all different places. You can learn yoga from classes, videos or books and then apply them to your own lessons and routines that you have created. This allows you to focus on exploring and expanding yourself at your own special pace. By practicing yoga by yourself, you can truly experience the full mental, spiritual and physical benefits of yoga.

Yoga Workouts For a Healthy Life Style
Yoga is one of the most interesting activities that one can engage in. It is fun and relaxing and is very challenging to beginners. Yoga is a system of physical and mental exercises that originated in India several thousand years ago. Its purpose is to help us achieve our greatest potential and to experience lasting health and happiness. Best of all, yoga is appropriate for all, regardless of age, gender, and health.
You can practice it anywhere and you do not need special equipment to do it. It is so easy that you can spend just a few minutes in the morning and you be ready and refreshed for the day.
What really separates yoga from any other sport activities is that it connects your body, mind and soul. Unlike other exercises that mainly focus on keeping fit and building muscles, yoga takes care of not only your physical fitness, but also your mental health, as well as your spiritual well being.
There are around 12 types of yoga. Although all of the styles are based on the same physical postures (called poses), each has a particular emphasis. Four of the most popular types of yoga are Hatha, Kundalini, Bikram, and Ashtanga. These are discussed below.
Hatha is the most famous form of yoga; it's the foundation of all yoga styles. It is a gentle practice where you move slowly and smoothly through dozens of poses (called asanas). It is a good choice for beginners. It will likely be involve slower paced stretching with some breathing exercises and meditation. Many starter classes will incorporate this yoga style. You will learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with yoga.
Kundalini is an ancient form of yoga that has only been practiced in the west relatively recently. The emphasis in this style is on the breath in conjunction with physical movement. It has a more spiritual feel than Hatha and focuses on energy balance in your body. It involves rapid movement through the poses and emphasizes breathing, chanting, and meditation.
Each Kundalini series is done with a specific breath that intensifies the effects of the poses. The goal of this exercise is to release energy in the lower extremities by allowing it to move upwards. Beginners unfamiliar with yoga might find Kundalini more physically and mentally challenging than they are comfortable with. Kundalini is one of the more spiritual types of yoga that is practiced. Also, it is physically intense.
Bikram is a style that is more generally referred to as hot yoga. It is a comprehensive workout that includes all the components of fitness: muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular flexibility, and weight loss. This is the only yoga style that specializes in using a heated environment. The room is usually maintained at a temperature of 95-100 degrees. The heat and energy expelled in this vigorous yoga session will cause toxins to be released through the seat glands.
This form of yoga increases flexibility by warming the muscles and joints. Since this style involves a strenuous environment, it is not recommended to pregnant women, and people who suffer from high blood pressure and heart conditions. For people who are injured, this is used in therapy to improve the physical fitness and range of movement for injured limbs.
Ashtanga is often called power yoga. Ashtanga means 8 limbs in Sanskrit, which refers to the eight limbs of yoga. This style is very physically demanding because of the constant movement from one pose to the next. There are six different Ashtanga series through which a student progresses at his or her own pace. Ashtanga yoga is extremely popular. It is a vigorous, athletic style of practice. It appeals to those who like a sense of order and who like to do things independently.
During a Asthanga yoga class, the participants jump from one posture to another. Therefore, this type of yoga is not ideal for beginners or individuals who are not in very good physical condition.
If you're thinking about taking up yoga, you may want to try one of these forms. Each type has its methods to improve your physical and mental health.

Great Price Gravis for
Gravis Yoga Bag & Mat Review
I absolutely adore this bag. I ordered the brown/pink plaid with no mat (since I have my own mat) and was pleasantly surprised. The bag was shipped within a timely manner, the quality of the bag is sturdy, and the room inside this bag is insane. I attend 4 yoga classes per week - this bag fits my wedge, my block, my change of clothes, slippers, money - you name it, I still have room. I own a regular yoga mat and that fits in the side panel with no issues. I would highly recommend this product. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that I had to learn how to "drive", steer myself with this bag! If I took a corner sharp or tried to squeeze through somewhere, I would probably knock something over. That's because the bag is long to accomodate the mat. But trust me, that by no means is a negative thing - and I don't mean it to be. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag - and receive a TON of compliments from my fellow yogis......

Holds Everything! - Sheila Howell - Pataskala, Ohio United States
I love this bag. It has room for everything and the zippered compartments are well placed. It has adjustable snaps on the side so it can adjust to various sized yoga mats. The fabric is high quality and the seams are sturdy. The only negative comment is there isn't a separate compartment for a water bottle. I thought the outside pocket might work, but it zips from the bottom up.

The only complaint I have with this product is the product description showed a black mat and it came with a gray one. I would have much preferred the black since that is what I ordered.

Altus Athletic 72-Inch by 24-Inch Double-Thick Yoga / Pilates Mat (Blue) Review
My husband likes his mat which I got him as a gift. It is not terribly thick, but thick enough to protect him when used on our hard floors. The thickness compresses a bit making it a little more cushy feeling than some other mats we've used. It is over a year old and still in very good shape.

Benefits of Yoga
Yoga has numerous benefits however, the benefits of yoga depends on how regularly you are practicing and also how you are practicing (example are you practicing only yogasana or also along with yogasana, you are combining it with pranayama,
Scientific Relaxation and meditation. The benefit increases when you combine yogasana (physical exercise) with meditation, relaxation and Pranayama.
Laboratory studies show that Yogic meditation produces the 'relaxation response'. In physiological terms the Relaxation Response shows as a marked decrease in the breathing rate and in oxygen consumption, a lowering of the heart rate ,a decrease in blood pressure in meditators whose levels had been higher than normal, and the production during meditation of
Alpha waves in the brain which are associated with mental relaxation."
Following are the benefits of yoga when practices regularly:
Flexibility and strength
Yoga postures stretch and strengthen muscles and ligaments and put joints through their full range of movement.
Good posture and better look
You develop the postures which are beautiful to look at. Firm muscle tone, bright eyes and clear complexion contribute to the
radiant appearance of the person. This, combined with good posture and grace of movement, makes for a pleasing outward
appearance.
Breathe smoothly and efficiently
Yogic breathing strengthens the diaphragm and encourages deeper, freer breathing.
Sleep well
Scientific relaxation helps in sound sleep and refreshing the body and mind.
Concentrate well
Yoga Posture, yogic breathing, relaxation and meditation all help to calm and still the mind. When your mind is calm and still you develop higher concentration for your work.
Cope well with stress
The improvements to your health and the ability to relax deeply that come with yoga make you more resilient. Even in times of crisis you can learn to cope well without getting much stressed.Massaging of all organs of the body - It massages all the internal glands and organs of the body in a thorough manner.
Benefits of yoga for sports professionals

Yoga Off the Mat - The Perfection Trap
Some Yoga teachers and practitioners get caught up in the pursuit of perfection. Will perfection help those who know us? The pursuit of perfection is noble, but if we become perfectionists, we will likely drive away those who love or care for us.
Have you ever attended a Hatha Yoga class, where nobody could do anything right? In such classes, the teacher spends the session reminding everyone about how much they are imperfect. Nobody can stand, sit, lie down, or breathe to the teacher's satisfaction.
The entire Yoga session could be devoted to performing one or two techniques until the teacher is 100% satisfied that everyone is absolutely perfect. If this seems a bit odd, or sounds like something similar to obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) - that could be the case.
However, let's avoid a diagnosis, at this point, and grasp an understanding about the aggressive pursuit of perfection. Self-awareness is a little off, when we demand perfection from our students or anyone else. We eventually cause severe emotional damage to our relationships.
If we teach Yoga classes like this, we would have to wonder about the sanity of the students who stay with us through hot summers and cold winters. Would they really need Yoga, or would they have a driving need to be verbally assaulted?
The truth is: None of us is perfect. We are all humans, which unfortunately is less than perfect. We can achieve excellence, and we can win awards, but it is difficult to be perfect in all matters. If we cause ourselves mental and emotional damage, because of unrealistic demands, how can we resolve this?
If the case is severe, or obsessive, one should set up a session for counseling with a professional. On the other hand, if this is a small matter, one should wake up to the fact that every day begins and ends with a few mistakes in the middle.
If every inventor demanded perfection, there would be no inventions. Life is a matter of learning from our mistakes. In order for a child to learn to walk, he or she, will have a few falls along the way. The same principle applies to our path in life.
Life is a matter of taking one step at a time and learning from each step. We adjust our direction and do our best to arrive safely at the next destination. For the Yogi: The same principle applies to practice - whether it is within a class or at home; we do our personal best because that is the best we can do.
