I am not an athletic or coordinated person, but realize that daily exercise is good for me. I've been doing cardio workouts for a few years now thanks to finding Leslie Sansone DVDs. However, as much as I know I need to also incorporate weights/resistance training, I've struggled to find something I like enough to do regularly, despite trying many different DVDs and various equipment. This kit has solved that problem for me. The covered resistance cord with padded handles is very comfortable to use. The included DVD contains three 20 minute workouts (front body, back body and core body), with an option to combine all three for one longer workout. The directions are simple enough to follow and the exercises are challenging, although not so hard to do that I give up; some of them I've not seen before. The instructor is friendly and encouraging without being annoying; two background exercisers help to demonstrate modifications. The production values are very good and the outdoor backdrop is beautiful. I find the 20 minute segments to be the perfect length to tack onto a 30 or 45 minute cardio workout a few times a week. I'm very pleased with both the resistance cord and the DVD.
